I am the Assistant Director of The Knee Regulatory Research Center at West Virginia University. I was previously with the Knee Center at Saint Francis University. My research interests are the effects of occupational licensing, health care scope of practice laws, access to health care, and innovation and long run growth. I am an alumnus of George Mason University, where I received my MA in economics in 2018, during which time I was a member of the Mercatus Center MA Fellowship Program. I am a Policy Fellow with Catalyst, where I write blog posts focusing on occupational licensing, healthcare regulation, and public choice theory. I am also an Occupational Licensing Fellow with Empower Mississippi, where I am helping the licensing review commission by giving information and analysis.
